Your account and emails on a board

Your account

Click the round badge with your initial at the top of the board to open Your account.

• Display name is what others see beside your ideas and comments. Your email address is never shown publicly.
• A new password goes in New password.
• Your ideas and votes lists what you posted and voted for.
• Sign out is at the bottom.

If you arrived from inside a product and never chose a password, your account comes from that product and the profile is not editable here.

Forgotten password

On the board's sign-in page, follow Forgot your password? and enter your email. The link in the email works for two hours.

The emails you get

• When an idea you posted or voted for changes status.
• When the team replies on an idea you posted, voted for or commented on.
• When an idea of yours is merged into another.
• When a new announcement is published, if you subscribed.

These only come once you have confirmed your email address through the link the board sent you.

Stop the emails

Every email has an Unsubscribe link, and your account page has the same switch under Email updates. It turns off all notification email from that board at once. You can turn it back on from the same place.

Have your data removed

Ask the team that runs the board. They can delete your profile, email address and votes; ideas and comments you wrote stay without your name.
