The Topic map

Switch it on

1. Open Settings›Site Navigation and switch on Topic map.
2. Check that Show topics on the board is on under Settings›Topics. Without it the map stays hidden.

The map appears as a tab on your board between Roadmap and Announcements.

Read it

• Each topic is a slice. The more ideas carry the topic, the wider and longer its slice.
• The largest topics get their own slice; smaller ones are gathered into “Other topics” and listed beside the chart.
• The number in the middle is how many ideas carry a topic at all.
• Clicking a slice or a name in the legend opens the Ideas list filtered to that topic.
• Under the legend, every topic has a tick-box. Untick one to leave it out: the slices, shares and the number in the middle are recomputed over the ticked topics. The browser remembers the pick, so each visitor sees their own.

With topic colours on, each slice wears its topic's colour, the same one it has everywhere else.
