Set up statuses and the roadmap

Statuses say where an idea stands, and they are the columns of your roadmap. Rename, recolour, reorder and add your own.

A new workspace has five statuses: Under consideration, Planned, In Development, Shipped and Declined. The first four are roadmap columns.

Edit the list

  • Type a name under Status name and click Add Status.
  • Click a name to rename it, and the coloured dot to pick one of ten colours.
  • Drag a row to reorder. The order here is the order of the roadmap columns and of the number keys in the inbox.

The three flags

FlagMeaning
DefaultNew ideas start here. Exactly one status has it.
ShippedMarks an idea as complete. Reports measure time to ship against this status.
RoadmapShows the status as a column on the public roadmap.

Delete a status

The × deletes a status. If ideas are in it, Kjerr asks which status to move them to first. The default status cannot be deleted; make another one the default before you remove it.

Topic tags on roadmap cards

Show topic tags on roadmap cards is on to begin with. Switch it off for cards that show only a title and a comment count.
