Merge, delete or export a person

Combine two profiles of the same person, remove someone's personal data, or download everything held about them.

Merge two profiles

People sometimes sign up twice, with a work and a private address. On the profile you want to keep, click Merge, find the other by name or email and confirm. Their posts, votes and comments move over; a vote on the same idea from both counts once.

The profile lists recent merges with an Undo beside each.

Delete a person

  1. Open the person and click Delete.
  2. Type “delete” to confirm and click Delete person.

Their profile, email address and votes are removed. Their ideas and comments stay on the board without a name.

Export

Export JSON downloads one file with the person's profile, companies, ideas, votes and comments. Use it to answer a request for a copy of someone's data.
