1Set up
Set up topics
Topics are the public tags on ideas. Add, rename, reorder and colour them, and decide who may assign them.
A topic says what an idea is about: Performance, Billing, Mobile. Visitors filter the board by topic, and Reports counts ideas per topic. A new workspace starts with nine that you can rename or delete.
Add, rename, reorder, delete
- Type a name under Topic name and click Add Topic. An emoji at the start is fine.
- Click a name to rename it. Drag a row to reorder; the order is used everywhere topics appear.
- The × deletes a topic. It is taken off the ideas that carried it; the ideas stay.
Colours
Switch on Colour-code topics and each topic gets its own colour on the board, in the inbox, on the Topic map and in Reports. Click a topic's dot to pick one of 52 colours, or use Assign colours automatically to give the most used topics the most distinct colours.
