The inbox: My inbox, All ideas and Done
How the three tabs work, what puts an idea in your personal queue and what takes it out again.
The inbox is one list of ideas on the left and the idea you opened on the right. Three tabs decide which ideas the list holds. Read, done and follow are personal: what you have dealt with does not change what a colleague still sees.
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| My inbox | Every idea where something happened since you last marked it done: a new idea, a customer's comment, a colleague's reply or note, a status change. |
| All ideas | Every live idea on the board. This is where the inbox opens until you choose otherwise. |
| Done | Ideas you marked done, as long as nothing new has happened to them. |
Working through My inbox
- Open My inbox. Unread ideas have a dot.
- Click an idea to read it. Opening it marks it read for you.
- Reply, set a status, tag it, or do nothing.
- Click Mark done, or press e. The idea leaves your queue.
A done idea comes back by itself when something new happens to it, so marking it done never means losing track. Your own reply does not bring an idea back or mark it unread for you.

What a row tells you
Each row shows the title, the status, votes, comments and age, with up to three topics and three tags. In My inbox and Done a second line says what happened last, such as “New comment” or “Status → Planned”, and where you stand: “You replied”, “Not reviewed”, “Following”. On a board with automatic translation on, a title written in another language shows translated; the original appears when you hold the pointer over it.
