Create your account and workspace

A workspace is one feedback board with its own inbox, team and settings. Your account can hold several; you create the first one when you sign up.

Create your account

1. Open the sign-up page and enter your name, your work email and a password of 10 characters or more.
2. Click Create my account. Kjerr sends a confirmation link to that address.
3. Open the email and follow the link. You are signed in, and the next screen asks about your workspace.

Name your workspace

1. Type the Workspace name. It is shown on your board and on every email the board sends, so use your product or company name.
2. Check the Board address. Kjerr suggests one from the name and tells you at once whether it is free. It can use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, 3 to 30 characters.
3. Click Create my board.

Your board is now live at the address you chose, with a board called “Feature Requests”, five statuses and nine starter topics. You can rename or remove all of them.

What to do next

• Look at the board the way a customer will: click View board in the top bar.
• Decide which sections it shows, in Choose what your board shows.
• Bring in colleagues, in Invite your team and choose roles.
• Put the board's link where customers will find it: your product's menu, your help page, your support signature.
