Read the reports
What each chart on the Reports page counts, how to change the period, and how to get from a number to the ideas behind it.
Set the period
- Chips for 7D, 14D, 30D, 3M, 6M and 12M. Reports opens on three months.
- Two date fields and Apply dates for any other range, up to two years.
- Daily, Weekly or Monthly sets how the charts are grouped. Left alone, it suits the period.
- Filters for one topic or one company.
Every figure is compared with the period of the same length just before it.
The cards
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| New feedback | Ideas submitted in the period, against the previous one. |
| Time to ship | The typical number of days from submitted to shipped, for ideas shipped in the period. It needs a status flagged Shipped. |
| Awaiting response | Ideas still in the default status after a week with no public reply from the team. This one ignores the period. |
| New feedback by source | The same ideas over time, split by how they arrived: Portal, Added by team, Imported. |
| Feedback by status | The share of ideas in each status today. |
| Feedback by topic | The most used topics. Switch to Tags to see your private tags. |
| Top submitters | The ten people who submitted the most. |
| Top responders | Teammates by replies, notes and status changes. |
From a number to the ideas
Click any figure, bar or slice and the inbox opens on exactly those ideas. The ··· menu on a card has Export CSV, Download PNG and Open as list.
Two numbers to watch
Awaiting response tells you whether people are being answered. Time to ship tells you how long they wait. If the first is near zero, the board is doing its job.
