The free Sleekplan alternative.
No seat tiers. No email caps.

Choose Kjerr, not Sleekplan. Replace seat tiers, email caps and AI credits with a free feedback board that never meters seats or emails.

Sleekplan is an all-in-one feedback suite with a widget, NPS, surveys and AI credits. Kjerr is the board, the roadmap, the widget and the emails, with nothing billed per seat or per email.

A free Sleekplan alternative: every feature, no credit card.

What we're opinionated about

Fewer modules, and no meters on the ones you get.

Sleekplan bundles feedback, satisfaction surveys, popups and an AI layer, each with its own allowance. Kjerr has one module and no allowances.

Nobody shouts into a void

A status change or a reply emails the author and every voter, under your name, with a one-click unsubscribe. Closing the loop is the product, not an add-on.

No meter on your users

Voters, ideas, teammates and comments are unlimited. The price will be per workspace, so a popular board never costs more than a quiet one.

One job

Collect requests, let people vote, triage in one inbox, tell everyone when it ships. Kjerr publishes the list of what it leaves out, and means it.

Your login, on every plan

Your product signs a JWT and users arrive on the board logged in, carrying company, plan and MRR. It is part of every workspace, not an enterprise tier.

Feedback board

A free feedback board people actually use.

A public board at yourname.kjerr.io where customers post ideas, vote, comment and attach screenshots and files. Reading and searching need no account; the first post, vote or comment confirms an email once, or users arrive already signed in from your product.

  • Duplicates caught mid-sentence. Similar ideas appear while someone types a title, with a vote button beside each.
  • Merge that loses nothing. Votes de-duplicate, comments move and the old link redirects.
  • A roadmap that follows your statuses. Under consideration, Planned, In Development, Shipped; rename, recolour and reorder them.
  • 11 board languages, 15 themes. Each visitor can pick their own language, and ideas can be translated between them automatically.

More on the public product roadmap

  1. Someone asks. Short title, optional detail, up to 5 screenshots.
  2. Others vote. One click. Votes never send email.
  3. You triage in one screen. Unread first, keyboard shortcuts, replies, internal notes, private tags.
  4. Everyone hears back. A status change or a reply emails the author and every voter.

The concrete difference

Voters hear back at every step, not only at the end.

In Kjerr, every status change emails the idea's author and every voter: when it moves to Planned, when work starts, when it ships, and when you decline it. Admin replies do the same. There is no monthly email allowance to watch.

Sleekplan's help center describes its “Notify upvoters” option as firing only on the Completed status; people who subscribe to a post hear about status changes and comments. Those emails count against the plan's allowance: 500 a month on Indie, 2,000 on Starter, 10,000 on Business.

Kjerr

  • Emails on every status change
  • Emails on every admin reply
  • Sent to the author and every voter
  • No monthly email allowance

Sleekplan

“Notify upvoters” fires on the Completed status; subscribers get other updates. Email sends are capped per month by plan, with extra blocks as a Business add-on.

Sleekplan pricing vs Kjerr

Flat per workspace, until you look at the allowances.

Sleekplan gets the big thing right: it prices per workspace and does not meter tracked users, feedback items or subscribers. Indie is free forever, Starter is $15 a month ($13 billed yearly) and Business is $45 ($38 billed yearly). For what it includes, that is inexpensive.

The meters are elsewhere. Team seats are fixed by plan: a single admin on Indie, three on Starter, ten on Business. Announcement views, popup views, email sends and AI credits each have a monthly allowance, and the add-ons that raise them are available on Business, at prices shown only inside the app.

The free plan is real, and it is narrow. Indie has the feedback board and the changelog, but no roadmap, custom statuses, moderation, private board, single sign-on, API or branding removal. A custom domain starts at Business.

Kjerr has one plan with everything in it, unlimited teammates and nothing counted per month. It is free, and any future paid plan will be flat per workspace. Both products are reasonable. Sleekplan gives you more tools; Kjerr gives you fewer things to keep an eye on.

Announcements

A changelog that reaches the people who asked.

Announcements are product update posts on the same board: categories, emoji reactions, comments, search by text and date, and an email subscription that is verified before the first send.

  • Sent under your name. Emails go out as your workspace, with a one-click unsubscribe.
  • Tied to the ideas. Moving an idea to Shipped already told its author and voters; the post tells everyone else.
  • Crawlable. Plain HTML, and each board chooses whether search engines and AI crawlers may index it.

Inside the product changelog

Portal sections

  • Ideas. Post, vote, comment, search.
  • Roadmap. Your statuses as columns.
  • Announcements. What shipped, with reactions and comments.

Each section is a switch in settings.

An honest answer

When Sleekplan is the better fit

  • You want NPS, CSAT and surveys in the same tool as the board.
  • You want an impact score that weights votes by plan or MRR.
  • You need Jira, Linear, Slack, Zapier or Azure DevOps connected.
  • You want AI to categorize and summarize feedback for you.
  • You need people posting and voting with no email at all.

Both products are reasonable, and Sleekplan is good value. It is a suite with allowances; Kjerr is one tool with none. Pick by how much you want to configure.

And when it isn't

Choose Kjerr over Sleekplan if

  • You want every voter told at every status change, without watching an email allowance.
  • You want a roadmap, SSO and branding control without moving up a plan.
  • Your team is larger than the seat count of the plan you would otherwise pick.
  • You do not want surveys or AI credits to set up.
  • You want company, plan and MRR for every voter on every workspace.

Migration

How to switch from Sleekplan to Kjerr.

Every comparison page promises an easy migration. Ours is short because Kjerr stores little: ideas, votes, comments, statuses and the people behind them.

  1. Export from Sleekplan. In Sleekplan, open Settings, then Export, and download the feedback posts dataset as CSV. Owners and admins can run it; it is always a full snapshot.
  2. Send us the file. Create your Kjerr workspace (about a minute), then email the export. We map its columns to Kjerr's and load it into your board.
  3. Point your users at the new board. Statuses you used are matched to yours, the roadmap fills itself from them, and single sign-on can be switched on the same day.

The import keeps each idea's title, details, created date, vote count, status and author. Comments and the list of individual voters are not carried over; the vote count is. A changelog from AnnounceKit moves over with every post's text, category, publication date and pictures. There is no self-serve importer yet: a person at Kjerr converts the file and loads it, usually within a working day, and re-running it never duplicates a row. Write to hello@kjerr.io. Questions: hello@kjerr.io

Sleekplan alternative: questions, answered.

What is a simpler alternative to Sleekplan?

Kjerr is a simpler alternative to Sleekplan for teams that want a public feedback board, voting, duplicate merging, a status roadmap, a changelog and emails to every voter at every status change. It has no surveys, NPS, impact score or AI credits, and nothing is metered per month.

What are Sleekplan's team seat limits?

Sleekplan's Indie plan is a single-admin workspace, Starter includes three team seats and Business includes ten, with extra seats as a Business add-on. Kjerr has unlimited team members in six roles on every workspace.

Does Sleekplan limit emails, and does Kjerr?

Sleekplan includes 500 email sends a month on Indie, 2,000 on Starter and 10,000 on Business; status and comment notifications count against it. Kjerr has no monthly email allowance.

Do I need something like Sleekplan's impact score or Sleek Intelligence credits?

Not with Kjerr. The internal roadmap scores ideas with RICE or your own factors, and the AI it has, duplicate suggestions, translation, Insights and suggested scores, is included with no credits to buy. You see votes, comments and who asked, with their company, plan and MRR, beside every score.

Is the roadmap free in Kjerr? It is not on Sleekplan's free plan.

Yes. The roadmap, custom statuses, single sign-on, a members-only board and the branding switches are part of every Kjerr workspace. On Sleekplan those start at Starter or Business.

Can I migrate from Sleekplan to Kjerr?

Yes. Export the feedback posts dataset from Sleekplan's Settings as CSV and email the file to us; we convert and load it. The import keeps each idea's title, details, created date, vote count, status and author. Comments and the list of individual voters are not carried over; the vote count is. A changelog from AnnounceKit moves over with every post's text, category, publication date and pictures.

What does Sleekplan have that Kjerr does not?

CSAT, NPS and surveys, an impact score, popups, AI categorization and an agent, a custom domain, fully anonymous posting, and integrations with Jira, Linear, Slack, Zapier and others. If you need those, Sleekplan is the better fit.

Does Kjerr integrate with Jira, Linear, Slack or Zapier?

Not natively. Kjerr connects to your own product instead: a REST API and signed webhooks, single sign-on with a signed JWT, an Identify API for company, plan and MRR, a JavaScript SDK, and a read-only MCP server for AI assistants. A webhook can post to Slack or open a ticket if you write that step; if a ready-made two-way sync with an issue tracker is essential, Kjerr is not the right tool.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. A board starts at yourname.kjerr.io; under Settings → Custom domain you can move it to an address like feedback.yourcompany.com with one CNAME record. HTTPS is set up for you, and the old address sends visitors to the new one.

Can I remove the Kjerr branding from my board?

Yes, on every workspace and at no cost. Settings has one switch for the “hosted by Kjerr” line and one for the “Create your own free idea board” chip. Emails are sent under your workspace name.

Is single sign-on included?

Yes, on every workspace. Your product signs an HS256 JWT and users arrive on the board logged in, carrying company, plan and MRR. See the single sign-on docs.

Can people give feedback without an account?

Reading and searching need no account. The first post, vote or comment confirms an email address once; there is no password to create. With single sign-on, users skip that step as well.

How long does setup take?

About a minute: sign up, confirm your email, name the workspace, and the board is live. There is nothing to install.

Give it a weekend. It's free.

Free to use. Bring a Sleekplan CSV export and we load it for you.
